I just watched that HBO mini-series about the Apollo program, "From the Earth to the Moon", produced by Tom Hanks. I thought it was really well done. I was in high school and college during the program (dates me, doesn't it?) and remember those events still, quite well.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
Just remember, Semper Gumbi - always be flexible!

I finished the Hatfields & McCoys mini-series earlier this evening and have to say that it was some of the best TV that I've ever seen. Good acting, great musical score, pretty scenery, and a really good story. It was saddening how the hatred escalated between those families, but it's certainly a story worth telling and worth watching if you get a chance.

Me and the wife haven't had a chance to watch it, but it should be a really good watch for us.
FYI... My wife is descended from the actual McCoys.
My family is descended from some old moonshiners...
So I guess it only goes to reason that we should be compatible!Jay

After doing some reading, I saw where they actually filmed the Hatfields & McCoys in Romania rather than in Kentucky and W Virginia. Either way, the cinematography was very nice.
I think you will be fine then, as long as you don't leave her and try to marry into the Hatfield family!oz

I've been a huge fan of Dexter since day one. A couple of the seasons later into the series aren't quite as good as the first couple seasons, but they are all well worth watching. It's hard not to like Dexter, and in some episodes it's hard not to feel sorry for his sister, Debra. Yes, I remember season one well... the season of the "ice-truck killer"!
You are in for some huge surprises if you stick with it throughout...oz

I watch tons of stuff, most of it not that good, but the shows I lately enjoy much are Modern Family, Game of Thrones and the Walking Dead
