Ok. No one took the bait, so I am starting a new thread, "Have you seen any good tv lately?" - well, have you?...

Yes, the newer version of Battlestar Galactica was one of my favorite television series of all time:

Battlestar Galactica (TV Series 2004-2009) - IMDb

Have seen a few episodes lately, but plan to watch it all again from the start (including the 2003 mini-series) very soon!

Ozar, did you also see the Caprica mini-series? That was a (IMHO) a GREAT (if ex-post-facto) prologue to the series!

Yes, I did, but could never get into it so ended up dropping out several episodes into the series. It might be that I was expecting it to be more like Galactica than it was, but I might try it again some day in the future.

As I was beaten to starting this thread, I've added 2012 to the title and added it to the interesting threads thread.

I watched it on DVD last night but Yes Minister is gloriously funny TV from the 1980s

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

TAL elija. I have watched some "Yes Minister" episodes, and found them typically "British funny". Enjoyable, but if you are from this side of the pond, not necessarily cogent. However, since I spent a year in England at a public school (in England, a public school is the same as a private school here in the USofA. A council school is the same as our public schools. Confused yet? ) I have perhaps a better appreciation of "British humor".

So, in any case, I definitely enjoy most Brit TV. Certainly more than the sludge we get served here on the other side of the pond!

I'm certainly hoping that they'll be coming out with more new episodes of The IT Crowd:

One of the few TV shows I like. I'm not a big fan of TV....I don't like a lot of the current programs.
