    Hi, everyone. I'm excited to begin to use Linux (Fedora 7) for d very first time. I'm Dave from Nigeria. Can anyone help me on how I could connect my Fedora 7 machine to d Internet with my Huawei 1550 MTN modem? So kind of U.

    Hello FavoureDave. The first thing you should do is install an up to date version of Fedora. Fedora 16 is the latest. Fedora 7 is years old and is no longer supported.

    Follow glennzo's advice, if your system won't support Fedora 16, post your computer specs and we'll offer advice on what distro will work for you. Others that you can consider are Ubuntu, OpenSuse, Linux Mint.
