    Hello!

I am new to the Linux OS. I do like the sleekness and ease of use and the lack of a bulky GUI. I hope to learn this and then bump up to Apache or something of that nature. Pleasure to meet you all!

Welcome to the forum What distro did you choose to start with? Also, just a FYI, Apache doesn't replace the Linux kernel (OS) or a distro, it's just software on top of the distro. So you won't be "bumping up to it" you can learn it along with learning your way around Linux and set up the apache software on your system.

What were you hoping to do with Apache?
    Bodhi 1.3 & Bodhi 1.4 using E17
Dell Studio 17, Intel Graphics card, 4 gigs of RAM, E17
