    I too run the gamut with musical taste. Here are some CDs that are in my car at the moment:

    Trigun: The First Donuts (anime soundtrack)
    A Perfect Circle: Thirteenth Step
    Bela Fleck: Left of Cool
    Tool: Aenima, Undertow, and Lateralus (3 albums)
    Nobuo Oematsu: Final Fantasy S Generation (game soundtrack)

    I tend to like older rock/pop bands/artists such as:

    The Beatles;
    Pink Floyd;
    David Bowie;
    U2 (not that old);
    T-Rex;
    and what I've heard of Stiff Little Fingers;
    and I'm partial to a bit of Blondie now and again;

    I'm not a fan of New Order, but they did one song I liked called Elegia, which was used as the soundtrack for a very cool stop-frame short film called More.

    My musical tastes drift to and fro, but mostly I dig on the hippy mind type stuff; Floyd, Radiohead, Phish, Beck, etc...

    Here's what I've been listening to for the last year or so:

    Let see, I Like to watch Brittany Spears, while listening to Christina Agulara. I like old rock bands like Led Zepplin, Ozzy, and Pink Floyd. Me and my son Listen to Aaron Carter and Hillary Duff. Long Freeway trips I might put in the best of Steely Dan or Jackson Browne. I want to hate Eminem, but for some reason when he comes on the radio station I don't change the channel. Now that it is Christmas time I like listening to Christmas music. Usually by the 25 I am done with that till next year. Sometimes if my mind is racing at night and I can't sleep I like classical jazz.
    For me it all depends on where I am at the time and what mood I am in.
