    Thank you both! I am familiar with Ubuntu and have stuck with that so far. I'm a little afraid of Lubuntu as I am not finding a lot out there on it compared to Ubuntu?

    It should be very similar under the hood but with a different interface and initial software selection. Another alternative is Xubuntu which, in terms of resources, hits the middle ground with regard to system requirements. Of all the *buntu distros, I like Xubuntu the best.

    As long as I can get online for help I should be fine. I am assuming this is fine because I get online through wubi just fine...?
