    Linux Bootable Hard Drive

Does anyone know how to make a bootable linux external hard drive on windows 7? I've tried Linux Live Usb and Pendrive but those didn't work for me sadly so if anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it .

Try UNetbootin, it is very popular for this sort of thing.

one other thing: your PC needs to support booting from external USB drives in order for this to work. You may need to go into the BIOS to change the order, or possibly press a key (often F12) to invoke the boot menu.

When I try Unetbootin my hard drive isn't detected and yes I do have the drivers for my hard drive.
