    Another new person topic.

    Hello linuxforums, I'm relatively new to the whole Linux thing so I figured I may as well sign up here. I am MOiBTY (or My Opinion is Better Than Yours), a Computer Science university student in real life, and I have only just really understood why Linux is so popular.

    I started on Linux about a year ago via a virtual machine with Ubuntu and recently tried the wubi installer, but I could never really get into it. Then my friend introduced me to Fedora, which I am now using. So far (which is just over a week) I am finding it fantastic and significantly better than Ubuntu. It has even taken over Windows 7 as my main OS (for everything other than gaming) due to the sheer speed of it and how easy it is to use, or at least for the most part.
