    Hello,

I am Ravi and am new to this forum. I am a graduate student. I have been using Linux before, but now I am planning to completely migrate to Linux. Currently I am an Ubuntu user and planning to change to Redhat once I familiarize with Ubuntu.

    Thanks.

Once you decide to pursue Red Hat, be sure to check out CentOS, it is a free, binary-compatible clone of the RH Enterprise Linux distribution. Very handy for those not able to shell out for the RHN license, but who wish to learn the OS. Along the same vein is Scientific Linux.
