Watched Red the other night. I think it's worth more than the 7.0 on IMDB...

Both Sherlock Holmes movies were really good. Nothing nasty, so great times for the family.

I watched 2 really good ones over the last couple of days.
Wrath of the Titans and The Hobbit.

Wrath of the Titans was a visual pleasure, pasted onto a decent action hero plot. Worth my time, and maybe your too.

I have mixed feelings about The Hobbit. I enjoyed it thoroughly, make no mistake. But, without giving any spoilers, I think Peter Jackson might be trying to add some stuff just to make it go long enough to warrant 3 movies. (2 would have been fine by me.) Had a good time watching it... and yes, I used the rewind button more than once to enjoy a scene.

On the cover of this movie are Josh Duhamel, Bruce Willis, and Rosario Dawson but the " bad guy " played by Vincent D'Onofrio was the acting winner in the move " Fire with Fire " which I just got through watching. This is not a child's movie if you get my drift!!

I finally got around to watching Prometheus (2012). A friend had already warned me that there weren't any long-headed aliens, but nevertheless, I still enjoyed it. It was a far cry from the original two in the franchise, but well, what do you expect, miracles? There were times where it was obvious that they were trying to recapture some of the magic from Aliens but always fell short. At other times, I felt like I was watching an episode of Star Trek. But if I took my knowledge of the previous movies out of the equation, and considered the movie on its own, I think it does pretty well. The lead girl was great, and David was great. And of course, the visuals...it could only be Ridley Scott.
