It was a far cry from the original two in the franchise, but well, what do you expect, miracles? There were times where it was obvious that they were trying to recapture some of the magic from Aliens but always fell short. At other times, I felt like I was watching an episode of Star Trek. But if I took my knowledge of the previous movies out of the equation, and considered the movie on its own, I think it does pretty well. The lead girl was great, and David was great. And of course, the visuals...it could only be Ridley Scott.
Did you watch the very end?

I hear Django Unchained is supposed to be real good.
Otherwise check out Spirited Away or Princess Mononoke (anime).
The Dark Knight Rises was the most recent movie I saw however and
    it was awesome

Not your run of the mill action movie but it was PRETTY FRIGGIN GOOD!! I think the 6.5 rating is a tad too low.

I learned something, and actually enjoyed the answers. Even if they are wrong. It was a hoot.

Prometheus Actually Explained (With Real Answers)

I can't wait for the next Alien movie from Ridley Scott if what they say is true. The plot is even better than I realized. I gotta buy the dvd I guess.

    Unstoppable.
Action/drama without all of the CGI. And it's a believable action that you could imagine seeing in the news.
    I really enjoyed it... twice!
