I have to watch the REAL scary/gory stuff without the wife.

She won't go in the Basement if no one is home or least on the phone with her after reading Bag of Bones and don't even think about putting magnetic letters on the fridge.

The Ring is not available on NetFlix, I'll check Streampix later.

yep, pretty much doesn't fail. i see an actor somewhere, and think "Oh, I loved that movie they did" and go look it up on Netflix...denied. i got it for a month...one and done.

am i the only one who misses going to the corner BlockBuster and flipping over movie boxes to see the back description? their snotty upstart replacement, RedBox, sucks it more than Netflix.

StreamPix is free and at $8 a month NetFlix is still worth it. More available on NetFlix on mail DVD, I may upgrade, though.

Yes, I could spend quite a lot of my time reading the descriptions on the back.

The Hobbit never looked so scary.

They even played the music from Silence of the Lambs in it.

    Trivia
The movie features the song "Good-bye Horses," by Q. Lazzarus. The song was also featured in The Silence of the Lambs, another movie about a serial killer who skinned people and had issues with his mother

Whatever anybody thinks about The Hobbit, don't buy it.
I'm a long time reader of the book..... loved what Peter Jackson did for LOTR.

    Hobbit was not done well.

I sold the DVD that was gifted to me............ I've never sold a movie in my life.

    *EDIT*
Yes........ I'll be watching the next 2 movies!

yes, mad is the right emoticon here. i was ripping royally pissed. at least Gollum made me laugh, as usual, though. he just gets funnier with every movie he's in (but in a clever way, not a clown way).
