I felt the same way about the Dark Knight Rises, cousinlucky! I liked it somewhat, but it left me feeling disappointed after all the hype that it received. My wife on the other hand seemed to enjoy it more than I did.

Yeah. They had a prety good mix of drama, emotion and a little bit of suspense. And some of the effects were incredible.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) - IMDb
Autobots and Decepticons, need I say more? I love this whole Transformer franchise. Can't wait for the 4th movie.

Just watched a western from about 20 years or so back called Unforgiven:

    Unforgiven (1992) - IMDb

I've seen it before, but when you enjoy good westerns, this one is a great one to see again every now and then.

    Highly recommended!

That's a good one, for sure - the wife and I watched it a few months back (second time for me) and I was afraid that she'd get overly nervous watching it, but she thoroughly enjoyed it. If I remember correctly, that was Tony Scott's last film before his unexpected death.

I watched both of the Fantastic Four films again a couple of days ago:

    Fantastic Four (2005) - IMDb

Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) - IMDb

They are not very good movies really, but Jessica Alba helps one to get past the fact they aren't all that good. Both movies are certainly worthy of a rental if you haven't seen them.

...and she seems to be genuinely nice, unlike a lot of the hollywood hotties!
