My wife freaked out a bit when we watched this one...

As soon as i saw the title to this movie I thought about Roky and some other LF members living in Texas. The only drawback I faced watching it was
pausing the movie when the subtitles went by too fast for my old eyes to read them! I really liked this Mel Gibson movie called: " Get The Gringo!! "!!

Just saw it a few days ago and I also thought it was a good movie.
Get the Gringo (2012) - IMDb
I think it's well deserving of the 7.1 rating on IMDB, perhaps even a little higher.

Yep, a good one - I saw it and recommended it in last year's movie thread. I've personally never stopped liking Mel even if he does throw fits and rant from time to time... we all have our issues!

Finally got around to seeing Skyfall, the 007 film mentioned and discussed in the good movies thread from last year:

    Skyfall (2012) - IMDb

Not quite as good as Casino Royale, but still very good and worthy of owning a copy if you are into Bond films and collecting movies.

Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, and Helen Mirren star in the movie " Red " ( retired extremely dangerous )!
The picture of Mr. Malkovich, wildly blasting a machine gun, at the bottom of the case cover was worth the asking price.
This is a great " geezer movie " which everyone over 50 should really like. There are a lot of cameos in this film for well
known actors. If you have a chance, check it out!!

Was forced to watch "Breaking Dawn" Part II. My wife bought it and said she would make lunch for me but that I had to watch her movie with her. I was really hungry and the movie wasn't so bad.

Anyone besides me think Helen Mirren is a pretty good looking older lady?

Yep, she's still very attractive, for sure - I'd forgotten how good she looked when she was younger, too. Thanks for the reminders.
