Looks like a good one! I've checked the TV Guide and made myself a note to catch the re-airing of the first episode when it comes on tomorrow night.

Thanks for the heads up, rok!

I caught it last night, and it was really very nicely done. Looking forward to seeing how it plays out.

It is only good for 20+ days from Hulu. If you have flash or can download flash. You can watch it. I tried it. It works even on my
    little 9 inch atom netbook.

It turns out that the first episode of Vikings will be re-shown tonight at 10 pm, CST, on History Channel, so I'll probably be catching it there.

Edit: watching it now and finding the scenery to be impressive - I read elsewhere that it was filmed in Ireland.

Vikings is starting off well - it may not be quite as good (at least not yet) as Hatfields & McCoys, but it's good nonetheless.

I'm going to keep watching to see how it develops...

I'm watching it on DVR now. I think this will be a pretty good show. I hope the historical accuracy is actually relevant.

Okay, I'm two episodes into the first season of Downton Abbey now and find that it is indeed very good, and worthy of one's time. Starting off in the year 1912, the story along with the acting, cinematography, video, and audio are all top notch so far, and I'm looking forward to continuing with seasons 1, 2, and 3 on blu-ray, and the upcoming season 4 which will be shown on public broadcasting stations.

    Highly recommended viewing...

    Update:

I've now watched all of season one of Downton Abbey (linked above) and must say that it is top notch, all the way. Can't wait to watch seasons two and three, and looking forward to season four, now being filmed. Very highly recommended!

Been watching re-runs of Stargate SG1 and it is still in my top 3 sci fi shows.

    In no particular order

    Stargate SG1
    Firefly
    Babylon 5

all right then reverse alphabetic order as it turned out!
    What do we want?
    Time machines!

    When do we want 'em?
    Doesn't really matter does it!?
