Breaking Bad Finale season 6 begins tomorrow night. I, for one, am super excited to see how this whole story plays out between Walt and and his brother in law Hank. It's a showdown that has been looming since Walt and Jesse started this whole story.

If you remember it from your childhood or even if you don't I recommend taking a punt and spending a few quid on the complete Sapphire and Steel collection. This is science fiction from the late 1970s and early 1980s so if you grew up in the era of "Coming up on <insert crappy show>" where they show you a preview followed by what they just showed you and then "Previously on <insert crappy show>" when they show you what have just already seen twice, you are going to hate it.

It is not fast paced and twitchy as we actually had attention spans back then and it is small. By that I mean the first "assignment" takes place entirely within a small house and if you discount a few apparitions there is a cast of seven people. Two of those appear for about ten minutes throughout the six episodes. And that's small! If you are young enough to only remember science fiction that is all action, running and shouting (new Doctor Who I'm staring pointedly in your direction) then you'll probably struggle with this series!

Personally speaking I think this is very high in the top ten science fiction shows of all time and is even in the top ten shows of all time! And a final note... Everyone says "Joanna Lumley... phwoar remember Purdy?" and I'm like "Purleez! Sapphire all the way! Mysterious, scary powers and strangely comforting and nurturing at the same time..."

I'm going to stop now before I have to ban myself for getting entirely inappropriate.

Does Netflix have Red Dwarf X? if not you haven't seen Lister's finest moment... If it does, then I wonder if that's what you expected?
