I heard Don't Know Why by Norah Jones on the way to work this morning...never heard of her before. quite a (pleasant) change from the normal a.m. rabble.

Norah Jones is pretty darn good. I heard that same song about 6 weeks ago and loved it. Not my usual style of music for sure.

My recent Musical listens seem like a bit of a break from what you guys have been posting, but if any of you are partial to the neo-folk-type movement that's going through the Indie circles right now, I would recommend "I and Love and You" by the Avett Brothers or "Common Faults" by the Silent Comedy. Like I said, a far cry from what's been posted previously, but I think they can be worth a listen now and again.
For something even further off track, the band Lights Out Asia or Bon Iver can be good if you want something spacey to fall asleep to. Just stirring things up.

Oh, and how could I forget one of my favorites! Again, a selection from the Indie netherrealm, the artist Woodkid and his EP "Iron." Just a different sound than what's usually on the air these days(Thank God...)

    Here are some links:

I watched Crazy, Stupid, Love. for like the jillionth time the other day, and it reminded me that I love that song they play while the credits roll at the end.

It is called "Blood", by The Middle East. Here is a live version of it - kind of sedate at first maybe, but its power sneaks up on you...really, really cool.
