My first was Red Hat Linux in 1996. Soon openSUSE followed several years before Novell bought it.

I started with Fedora 14 with LXDE. I switched to Arch recently, but when a computer bellies up and I want it working fast I still use Fedora for that.

My first distro was either CentOS or Fedora back in 2011. Whatever I was using, it was running gnome2 and I didn't use it for that long. I started using fedora again after I got my first job offer for a linux job and linux has been my main os ever since. Nowadays I'm using arch.

Fedora 9 Live CDs, then USB joysticks then CentOS, Fedora Remix, Ubuntu, Ubuntu Remix. Desktop Gnome 2.0, and also LXDE and XFCE, but the classical Gnome desktop 2.0 is the first and still the best.
