I have to say, the random question during account creation was very entertaining. I don't think I can resist asking what it's for. So... What's it for?
    Thanks for the welcome!

    Hello and Welcome,
Oh yea, we got cookies but we're all out at the moment. Have a banana

The entertaining questions are in place to prove that you're human and not a bot/spam machine. It works quiet nicely I must add.
Hope to see you around. If you need anything just ask. If you know some answers just blurt them out loud and then quickly type it out in a reply also.

    Ahhh
That makes sense. It's a lot more fun than copying numbers, too!

It might take me a while to get where I can contribute anything useful beyond the classic "Just turn it off then on again," but when I can say something intelligent, I'll try to!
    Thanks for the welcome!

LoL you're about to learn plenty of new things. You'll wonder why you waited so long to try Linux. Have fun with it.

Yeah, what really put the final nail in the coffin for me with Windows was the inane lack of options with OEM installations. I mean, my gripe was essentially about OEM vs. self built, but I think I can overcome the shortcomings of a pre-built computer with Linux. Plus, it fit the bill for what I was looking for in an OS.

I look forward to sticking around these forums!

Is that "bonk", or should it be "boink"...
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
