So I now realize that my " taste " in cars is passe because only one car appealed to me but I do not have $120,000.00 laying around to purchase one of them!!AntiX 12 and PCLinuxOS gnome

I'm quite glad there are several motors on that list that wont ever see the light of day in Europe.
And what have Fiat done to that 500? They originally put the retro body on the mechanics of a Panda, and charged more for it, and it was a success. Now they've moved that retro body into something that looks more like the original Panda, but kept the 500 name? That, I suspect, is 'Marketing'.Linux user #126863 - see http://linuxcounter.net/

Does your admiration for them span across this little beauty
I've only seen the new vanquish on the page that Lucky posted, but from that it doesn't look as nice as the DB9. But I don't think I've seen any car better looking than the DB9. Wish I could afford one. I'd park it in the garage and look at it every day.Linux user #126863 - see http://linuxcounter.net/

Well yes. I mean just look at it! Just don't park it next to a DB9...

cousinlucky, I wouldn't mind winning (in a raffle, perhaps) one of several different models in that listing, but it's doubtful that I'd ever purchase any of them, even if I had the extra cash. I could have purchased 3 new cars for the price of the last one that I purchased and have been regretting it somewhat ever since.

Gas powered may become the past.
2013 Detroit auto show: Top 10 must-see electric vehicles | MLive.com
I might have to reconvert my old 1963 F100 FlatBed PU from gas and propane to electric eventually. No power brakes, windows, and the back bed should handle a ton of golf cart batteries with a charger (I have 3 phase transformers at my place).

As far as looks go. I prefer scooters.
Maybe even build my next vehicle. We get more leeway than you northern city boys with all your laws.

I often wonder how folks would cope with $50.00 a gallon gasoline prices?
