    Question xPUD not on line

Have xpud on USB drive - booted on HP 4700 desktop it will go online -- on a Gateway GT 5670 it will not / does not show that it recognizes network adapter (nvidia nforce 10/100mpbs ethernet) - Is it an issue of configuring something or a hardware issue ?

    Hi,

    You say that:
on a Gateway GT 5670 it will not / does not show that it recognizes network adapter (nvidia nforce 10/100mpbs ethernet)
I assume you see some such message on the console (monitor, etc.) as the system boots up? It sounds like the kernel does not have that driver built in, and thus, you need a different kernel. just try a different distro. UNetbootin is a good place to start.
