the guitar is my thing. be it classical or plugged in and cranked up to eleven. i lived in a house with musically talented older siblings growing up, and got weened on Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, and Jimi Hendrix, so I didn't have much say in the matter...

i've got a decent steel string Taylor dreadnought, right now it is sitting neglected in the corner.

I'm working on learning the Electric Bass, I have an Ibanez SR300 in Roadster Orange Metallic, with a Fender Rumble 15 Amp.

That's awesome! Most of my friends play guitar, while I stuck to vocals. Anyway, I spent a week or two learning the most common chords last year (also on banjo) it was a lot of fun, but I haven't had the time to learn much since, so I also have some sadly neglected instruments.

Ooh. Nice. I really wish I knew how to play Bass, some of my friends do, and they have so much fun with it.

And, atreyu, maybe I'm just assuming you put references in your posts, but either way "cranked up to eleven" reminded me of this.

I play the cello a bit. My church has a gospel choir and I play with them. We don't have any male members so I do the base parts.
