    Thumbs up New Mint Member

Hi everybody I'm Marius from Brazil, I just successfully installed LM 14 64 bits, a few days ago, learning everything from scratch.

And I have already gotten myself into some big trouble, I might have to open a new thread, but I'll let you know the problem before hand:

I have successfully changed both my password and username, so much is that I now am unable to log in!

I hope that this forum can help out with this problem and many other issues in the future.

I can be found either 40 miles west of Chicago, in Chicago, or in a galaxy far, far away.
So, just how DID you change both your user name AND password? Changing your password is one thing (using the passwd command), but changing your user ID is another entirely!
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
Just remember, Semper Gumbi - always be flexible!
