Greedy little boy question
But I just have a question for you all.
You see some cupcakes being mixed. Good tasting batter for a mix of 12 cupcakes. And there is just a bit of extra batter.
What would you do?
I like to lick spoons and bowls... but I'm a big kid.
I just had to fight for a bowl that was mixed for 12 cupcakes... but they only had 12 cup sleeves.
I had no way to save the batter... but I could savor it for what it was. (yummmm......)
She didn't wanna give it up as "gross".
So just a question for a moment... do you guys let good batter go to waste? Or do you lick the spoons?

I usually don't get to make that decision. The wife either gives it to the grandkids if they are around, or lets the dogs lick the bowl.Registered Linux user #526930

Let the good stuff go to waste? Never! Spoon, spatula... whatever's handy to get the job done.

I generally just spread the extra batter among the (obviously underfilled) containers. There usually isn't much left over, and I just wash it out. I prefer my batter cooked, so I don't leave much on the spoon.
