Linux security

Linux is more secure, just in case there were any doubters out there.

These computers were actually setup for the purpose of being attacked with just default installations. I was impressed with the results of the tests.[/url]

always makes me feel better to read stuff like that. I remember installing XP w/o SP installed. I went to M$ website and by the time I clicked on windows update I had a virus. Not even 5min and I had a virus. Well I took it to work reinstalled win again w/o a SP installed, connected through a Unix router and was fine. Now you have M$ pushn all this crap sayn they a secure but I work w/both systems every day. Do you know how hard it is to keep spyware/virus off 500+ PC's. Well you can't. Most all as in 99% use IE and is a never ending story. It all ways has and all ways will be. I just don't understand why they fight so hard and make it like it is a new thing...OH wait I do. Some one found out Unix/Linux is a better system. I not gonna lie... i like the M$ GUI. It is so easy to use. But a better GUI and less secure system does not stand over the fact Linux is here, a great GUI if YOU WOULD LIKE TO USE IT. THE POWER OF CHOICE! Some thing M$ does not give you. Sorry I went on their. I must have some built up aggression torwards M$....

My XP harddrive (yes, I have one) is secure only because it has not connection to the outside world. Haha.

**EDIT: Oh, neat, I've been TP'd!

It is impossible to have a secure Windows machine if it has a connection to the internet. IMPOSSIBLE. And oh, hey, it takes 3 months of hard work for someone to break a Linux box, hum I wonder which is better.
