    i wish i did, but if i did i would use XM or Sirius with all the bells and whistles

    Sirius's radio interface doesn't work on Linux. It uses some heavy proprietary WMP coding in the web interface.

    I use shoutcast servers when I choose to listen to something that I don't have.

    could you explain a litle more about these shoutcast servers and what you need

    Thank you sarumont. I will look into that. Btw, you said Sirius does not but did not say any thing about XM. Does XM work? Either way I give shoutcast a go and see..

    Well, if I followed that logic I'd be subscribing to sattelite radio because regular radio doesn't offer service in my area....

    I got Sirius, came free with my satellite tv. I don't know anything about making it work with Linux, though, except that you could plug the receiver's speaker (or line preferably) out into the sound card in...
