    More to the point, Jack Daniel's and George Dickel are Sour Mash Whiskey's or, "Whisky." Rebel Yell, Maker's Mark, Jim Beam, etc. are Bourbon's. Bourbon comes from Kentucky, Sour Mash comes from Tennessee.

    I far prefer Sour Mash, and I don't think any are better than George Dickel white label among those generally available.

    Hmmm... my lips are itchin' for a George Dickel on ice right about now...

    The Australians are making some of the most excellent wines in the world today. Lindeman's Shiraz is just excellent for your grocery store variety wine. Of the varietals, I'd have to say Pinot Noir would have to be my all time favourite, followed by Shiraz, (Syrah in other countries), and Zinfandel is very under appreciated.
