I haven't heard of any graphical tool, but a text based one is

Thanks guys! I'll have a look around myself when I have time - I think having a graphical way to trace a route is very cool indeed.

I'll try traceroute at some point soon: planning a broadband connection

Just think, you could trace your surfing habits into some sort of graphic, then do a screen grab and set it as wallpaper! Oh yeah!!
