    RH versions- what up?

Ok, so Redhat made a major change in policy by going from 8.0 to 9.0 with no 8.1 etc... to fix the bugs already in V 8.0 .

So if they go back to the way they use to come out with new minor upgrade how long is it generally between the initial release and the next minor Rev to come out? 9.0 to 9.1 etc....

Additional question is do they usually update the hardare driver package with the minor upgrades or only the major?

    Thanks for the insight,

I've been on 5/6 for awhile and only recently worked some with 8.0 before 9.0 came out

Am I dreaming or were RH looking to put a new release out every 6 months?

The only problem I see with that is it would be more minor changes everytime. I mean, six months isn't that much time if they wanted to make a big change to their software. But we'll see how it ends up I suppose...
