Be gentle, it's my first time :-)
Hey folks! Well, got the 7 day email and figured I'd say g'day...
I'm quite new to linux, i've been a DOS/Win user for all of my puter life. I've been using Fedora Core 3 for prolly a month now. Have to say I can see the potential of how good computing can be with linux, but I really need to knuckle down and learn the ropes. So far so good!
I'm right into the c64 demoscene, so I have been refraining from making the switch from win to linux, because of the transfer software, or lack thereof for linux. After finding CBM4LINUX, i figured "well, nothing left to stop me now"... I'm still trying to get it working though, but I'm not asking any questions until after I'm convinced that I've done everything i can to get the b*stard going
Ok, best to cut this short, in any case, nice to be here, i look forward to learning.
L8r!, Joe.

Welcome Joe!
That's the best way to get into it, perhaps sometimes frustrating,
