    I'd just like to introduce myself since i am new to the forums. my name is Michael and i'm the CEO of Advanced Performance Machines, based in South Florida. I've been using Linux for about 4 -5 years now my current favorite distrobution is Slackware 7.0 which has been my favorite since it has come out. And i hope i can help you all as much as you can help me!

    deleting directory

    hello all,
    I am very new to linux and using RedHat 9.
    Is there any way of removing a directory having subdirectories which are not empty?
    I looked into some books too but cudnt find.

    Have you tried typing this in the console:

    rm -R [directory]
