    Hello Fellow Linux Users

Just introducing myself to this great forum. I have been a unix user for 14 years and using SuSe Linux for about 8 months. I still have one topic out there that I'm still trying to get an answer for. I've heard from some users that say this is weird. (Under author abeh) I still can't get the problem resolved. Thinking about wiping the machine and starting over. Anyone else have any input to my post of April 20, 2005?

    hey hows it goin?
i use the partitioning tools on my old mandrake 9.1 disk to sort the hard drive out, then crash out before it installs anything. use a windows bootdisk to do "format /mbr" (gets rid of lilo/grub) then your good to go on a clean system.
think suse has a graphical partitioner as well, not so sure about other distro's though.....
