    Hi everyone

Just like to say hi to everyone. I'm a newbie to Linux. I've got Knoppix and love the way it boots up on an older machine. I'm reading through stuff that can help me in remastering my own version for my own use. But time is a factor in doing this as I work full time during the day in a large IT org.

I've got some ideas on how a Linux distribution can be a major player as an OS and would like to share.

Welcome 20t40! Hope you enjoy the stay here and get all the help you need. As for the ideas, feel free to share whenever you you get the chance. I'm sure everyone would love to hear some ideas on how to make Linux more of a well-known and hopefully major OS amongst the home users who don't really know it exists...

    Hi!

If you liked knoppix on an older computer, try Xfld. Also, to make a custom live cd, try out mutagenix.
