    For me it wasn't so much a case of either one of us changing (we're pretty stubborn and set in our ways), it was just a matter of things that were wrong with us to begin with (personality conflicts, different social groups) getting amplified by the fact that we never saw each other and couldn't "re-sync", if that makes any sense. But that's the past. Now I'd be happy to have more than 2 dates with the same person.

    Yep, same here. I think I also had a long recovery period - not every man is the same there. Some seem to take about 3 days, then they're dating again.

    yeah its been a wierd day

    thinking of calling her to say hi... i know i shouldnt. rather work on some c++ heh :P at least it keeps my mind off things

    Why? If she dumped you then no, don't call her. But if it was a mutual agreement then letting her know you're still thinking about her won't do any harm.

    Would it do any good? I have someone I've been thinking about a lot lately, but she made it pretty clear when we parted ways that she didn't want to hear from me again. I don't think in that case it would be a wise course of action.
