All I can say is good luck with the exam.
I am curious who you are taking it through.
I took my A+ Hardware and A+ Software through CompTIA via Thompson/ProMetric.

When I was studying for my exam, my instructor encouraged us to make flashcards of the stuff we had learned.
I made all my own flashcards using 3x5 index cards.
Writing down the information helps to solidify it into memory.

    Re:

I have already read the comptia linux + certification book, but mostly I have been studying from these online practice tests. Do you think the online tests that I have been taking are similar to the real thing??

The tests they give in CompTIA are taken from a database of thousands of questions.
Even though you will only be asked 80 questions(that was how many I was asked).

These online tests, do they give you a chance to look at the correct answer, if you got it wrong.
And be careful about getting used to certain questions, and getting them right every time, and by thinking you are answering them right, you think you are all set for the test.

There was a girl in my class, who took the tests on the cd's that we were given, she took these tests over and over, till she could get 100% on all of them. Since then she has failed the A+ Hardware 3 times that I know of.

If I were you I would concentrate on the material in that book, and then use the tests to test your knowledge.
