Fast Start/Off Computer wiyh Linux
With the increase use of the Desktop for mundane applications like placing a Phone call using the IP, looking for the Mail and similar, a PC with fast Switch On/Off is a necessity.
Can a PC be modified to use one or two Giga of Flash memory and putting the OS in it. This.would eliminate, or drastically reduce, the time consuming loading, mounting/dimounting of rhe OS, Drives and Hardware recognition requirement.?

FLASH
There are adapters for FLASH-IDE interfaces. You could probably search and find one. It will work on regular motherboards too.
