    I just came across this interesting book

    yes Ive seen this book before however I dont own it. Its mainly like a Linux Bible. You look up what you want to do and it tells you how to do it (most of the time). I would get it if you wanna be a guru and know everything but a Linux Bible is just as helpful if not more.

    That's a great book, full of details and examples. Some of it may vary by distro, but that's a problem for any book. You can buy it in hard copy or in electronic form...or you can download it at no cost.
