i have bought a live suse cd.... i wanted to know if i connect it to the comp and boot from it...it will directly run....will it effect my hard disk ...

SUSE live cd
i have bought a live suse cd.... i wanted to know if i connect it to the comp and boot from it...it will directly run....will it effect my hard disk partition or data on the hard disk .......will it ask for some kind of page filing on the hard disk????????????????????

Stick the livecd in your CDROM drive and boot from it, and in a few moments you'll be running a full-featured linux desktop system. The livecd will not touch your hard drives or filesystems. Live CDs run completely from the CDROM and do not affect your system at all.
There are two major products that come out of Berkeley: LSD and UNIX. We don't believe this to be a coincidence.
