KDE cos it was the 1st one i used and liked instantly. For me Gnome seemed a bit slow and inconsistent (atleast the old versions), so I stuck with KDE.

What Windows
I use gnome almost all the time, I have FC3, and I just like the way gnome looks, maybe it's because I'm old "windoze" user, but now linux only.

When using Linux as my home PC and multimedia center, I use KDE. It's just that much more refined and polished. On my server or laptop, I use IceWM.

i use kde, i'm tried to get used to xfce but i just couldn't, so i'm sticking with kde for now on the desktop. on my laptop i have popcorn slax running, which does use xfce.

i like gnome. i tried kde, and just liked gnome a little better. i think i will try kde for awhile though, it seemed more customizable. and the control center was great, since i am just coming off windows.

Xfce. Once you start using it, KDE just seems so... slow
