You could buy it... It's not as expensive as other distro's...

Still, if you you order it, you'll have the biggest OS on CDs out there.
PS: and if possible, do pay some extra for the Debian crew

Have any of you noticed a difference now that it is stable?
If you have been using Sarge all along, will there be a difference?
Thanks, Jeff
- 06-08-2005 #28unlikley from sarge in the past month (it has been frozen). I think most of everything was just secruity (you can check the change logs). However, if you want to run stable you need to change your apt sources to stable, since currently you have testing sources. If you don't do this, you will be running etch.

Yes, I have tried telling my parents about high speed but it would be an extra expense (initially) and I am not here 8 of the 12 months of the year (I am the only one who really uses the internet). I would desperately like it since Linux is unfriendly with my modem but only 2.5 months till broadband again (YAY!). As for purchasing it...anyone here know of a place that will ship CD's/DVD's to Canada? I would prefer a place here in Canada because it would be cheaper but anywhere will do.
