    It's also a little faster.

To be honest, the main reason why I like Linux so much is that Microsoft has bene pissing me off with frivolous lawsuits and general corporate bull ****. I hate the idea of supporting them. For all practical purposes however, Linux doesn't provide me any tangible benefits, but gives me several major issues. (omg, blasphemer!!!)

I try to keep an open-mind, and I have no loyalties. That being said, the advantages of Windows in my situation outweigh the disadvantages, and it's a no-brainer for me.

(For other people, eg my brother, Linux is definitely the way to go.)

    it's nothing personal,
It's just that whenever someone posts a pro-windows viewpiont, the thread eventually turns into a flame war . Personaly, I could care less how people feel about M$ Window$ _or_ Linux. Obviously I'm pro-Linux or i wouldn't be here. People are on this board presumably because they have at least a passing interest in Linux. I can't imagine any other reason for creating an account on linuxforums.org unless the person is just trolling...

Now that's said let's just pass the duchie from coast to coast and be friends :smoke:

There are two major products that come out of Berkeley: LSD and UNIX. We don't believe this to be a coincidence.
