Here is a good reason, it won't come with a hdd so you have tobuy it separate.
And the size requirement.

By contrast, the Xbox 360 will ship with a 20GB hard drive, standard. No other 360 HDD models have been announced, although Microsoft officials have indicated larger-capacity models could be produced if needed.

The ps2 doesn't include a hard drive because Sony makes more money by selling it to you separately. You see they have to compete with Microsoft and Nintendo. And because of this they cannot give you an 80gb+ hdd and price it as the same price as the Xbox 360. It would cost more and since alot of people don't even know what a hard drive is they will not see the importance of it costing more for that reason.

This is why the Xbox is the only M$ product i will buy. They can give more performance then the pS2, with the hdd, and it still carry's the same comeptive price. IMO this is probably the only thing that bill gates has done right.

An xbox is a low-end PC squeezed into a console sized box. That's why it's powerful, it doesnt make it superior to any other consoles.

The most powerfull gaming system out there is the PC.And I'm not getting any of the next-gen consoles even if they all come with 10 terabyte HDDs and all linux distros.I'm not getting PS3 because I hate Sony,I'm not getting gamecube because I've played on all nintendo gaming systems so far and they all sucked,and I'm not getting Xbox because it's nothing but a PC(and not a very good one),and it's made by Microsoft.Consoles suck.
