have you ever tried Download Accelerator Plus? I used to use it when i would download large files .. like .iso files, and never had a problem with it. it allowed for resume of the files, and I never had a problem with any type of errors. just food for thought.

If you use wget, you can resume with "wget -c Http://server.com/iso.iso"

If you're running windows, there is wget avalible for that aswell.

Dude, you should get a free month or something from your ISP for downloading 650 mb with 56k :P

I am so pissed off right now. I cant even convey how pissed off I am. I had that download of Slackware going real well. About 15 hours left, and I was going to leave it on while I went to work. Should have been done by Saturday. 66% of the thing down, with about 500MB downloaded. And guess what. I get an error.

then it can't be the software if you are having the same troubles each time. i dunno ... if you want to try again, try a different site to download from, like www.linuxiso.org i have always downloaded my .iso files from them. OR maybe one of these multiple pals we got here wouldn't mind sending you a copy. i have a copy of slackware 9 if that is something you may want to look at. Ciao.

I'm shure there are a LUG where you live that might give you a slackware cdrom. You can try to find it (if it exists, that is ) on linux.com or linux.org

Can't you just resume on another mirror?

QD: You know, Linuxiso don't host the ISO's themselves, they just redirect to places where you can get 'em

I think it would be a little to expencive to host all the ISO's they are linking to. Just think about how many people download off from that site every day.

BTW: It has worked perfect for me too
