Who is yours? He or she can be the singer of any type of music.

I know I'm gonna get hammered for this, but...

    Pete Townsend circa 1965/1969

He brought emotion to the music. Still brings a tear to my eye.

    Diamond Dave also rocks...

Not by me. Townsend is a great singer and the Who is one of the greatest rock bands ever!

I personally think the the mini opera "Quick One" was the best thing that was ever recorded. Pure rock'n'roll. To think that they did this when others were still doing smaltz,,, I only wish I could get a copy of the cheezy video.

I don't really have a particular favorite singer, but as of now, I'm partial to the works of Otis Redding and Bobby Darin.

Without a doubt, Otis is one of the greatest Soul/R&B singers of all time, and my personal favourite in that catagory.
