    I apologize if this has been asked somewere, but could somebody explain how to set up the partitions through Mandrake? I get to that screen and it confuses the **** out of me.

    I would look it up, but im sitting in class and cant really search.

    Just use cfdisk...that' probably the simplest way to configure partitions.

    I have a pretty good connection, bout 4 meg download, 256 up.

    The upstream is rather poor, but seems to be the way about all of em do it nowadays. ISP also blocks port 80 so ya can't run a web page. I had to use a forwarding service and change the port in httpd.conf

    They were also blocking port 25 (email) but i got that to work also.
    $50 a month...
