    That's a very interesting article. I am pretty perturbed that there are apparently so many guys that drive women away from linux just through ignorance. Personally, I would love to see more women in the linux community. Most of my best friends irl are females, so it would only be better if they were interested in computing.

    Yes, I agree totally with this. I think this forum would be good for female users... On the other hand, I'm not naive about what women experience online as female friends have told me some horror stories in the past.

    I think no-one on that forum knows what they are talking about. I read to page 2, then stopped. Every post was wrong. There is even a guy there who thinks GNU/Linux computers cannot be attacked..
