I just saw Stealth. Not the best movie. Good thing is, the main jet programmer uses linux, not sure what distro. I was just excited when I saw it....

    Strangely enough, I just finished a screenplay, (written entirely in OpenOffice with a screenplay macro) that mentions Linux twice...

    Not a movie, but in the first season of "Chappelle's Show" in the Pop-Copy skit they mention Linux once.
    If they have a floppy disk with them, tell them that we use Windows. If they use that then tell them we use Mac, if they use a Mac then tell them we use Linux. If all else fails then tell them that the computers are down for the day
    I would suggest watching a bit of Comedy Central and you might catch the episode, if not then buying the boxed set is good too

    There was a well recorded instance when a prison guard in 24 had KDE running on his computer. But I don't think it was actually running, speculation was that it was simulated in Powerpoint or some Macromedia app at the time.

    and here i thought apple was the only one who cold be on tv. i saw that episode of chappelle show, that was great, but i couldnt imagin why that would explain why they couldnt read the floppy disk.
