I'm glad that there's such good feedback on it because I've been using it alot and it really is a great browser. I also have to agree that the graphical browsers crash wayy too much. I'm actually going through a small issue with firefox at the moment because of a XML error. Shouldn't be that hard. But yeah, elinks is really good. What I've found to be nice to do to make others say dammmmn is that you go to a website that has ASCII artwork and it looks amazing on there. I think it looks even better than on the graphical ones. If you try it, lemme know what you think.

There are two things holding me back from using links -g as my primary browser (actually links-hacked, for tabs). First is that there's no way to search for hyperlinks only, like in Firefox you can use the ' binding. Second is that you can't set it to tab through forms only, but that wouldn't make sense without having the link search model I already mentioned.
Above what we have in Firefox, I'd like a special mode which allows you to tab through links which are images only.

Ok, make it three things. I really hate not having adblock. It's not seeing the ads so much, but so many ad servers take forever to respond with dialup, and it cripples the browser til they do.

But I've been becoming disenchanted with Firefox lately, I'm really starting to feel the bloat and getting annoyed by the holes in keyboard driven browsing. It's actually driving me to learn to code, so eventually I can try to do things more minimally.

Does anyone have any suggestions in the meantime? I think I'll try w3m tonight.
