lol i got the same, the only distro they said would fit me was debian, thats wat im using (but i do think the question what package manger do you prefer and you select .deb somewhat sums it up...)
the second time puting "i dont care" for the package manger i got
Debian, Gentoo, Slackware, Mandrivia, Red Hat, Ubuntu, Kubunto, and mephis LOL i dont kno how acurate that is

I am running one of the two distros that quiz recommended for me. I never had much luck in getting Gentoo going for me ... could've been a buggy CD-R though!! Anyway, Slack is it - tres cool!!

Greetings all! I've decided to take the plunge,installed Mepis last night and was up and running in 20 mins.,awesome! Windoze is in my rear view mirror and I ain't lookin back!

Welcome airbuddha - enjoy the ride with Mepis. I know nothing about that distro, so perhaps once you've taken it for a spin for a while you could post back your experiences on it ... even do a review from a newbie's perspective
