I bet there are more pirated copies of Windows installed than there is Linux installs on desktop computers. The way to get Bill Gates attention is for people to quit pirating Windows and getting more to install Linux.

Anytime a business sets up a campaign to discredit another company (software in this case), it is pretty obvious your company/software has gotten the attention of the company doing the hating.

When you send executives from country to country trying to persuade/threaten them to stay with windows, you have gotten their attention.

Linux has definitly gotten Microsofts attention. The problem for Microsoft is that they really don't have a company to fight, how do you fight very good and free software. Oh sure there is SCO (*smacks lips* please), but when you fight this long it means change is coming because change is always a strong, and hard fight (think rock & roll, or rap music, Gaza strip etc... hard changes were they not.)
